Solved Tag Info and Fader Questions

Two questions. 1: I have a fader in a track that has audio information on it which is working and I can hear and edit the audio but the VU meter doesn't register any information, as if it isn't detecting a signal. Is there something that perhaps I didn't set up in that channel correctly or inadvertently disabled?

2. Is there a way to enter tag information before rendering to a mix directly in Studio One? I'm tired of re opening a mix in Audacity to just write tag info.

Is this an audio track or instrument track? And are you using the latest version of Studio One?

Yes, you would use artist presets on the Start Page for that.

It's an audio track. I'm using version 6 because I have to much trouble with version 7. Does that matter?

Never mind. I found the answer. The monitor button was on on that track, but I would like to know a bit more info on the metatag info. Could you give me a bit more detail? I would like to put information specific to each song on the rendered WAV. I'm not seeing how to do that on the Start page.

Go to Song > Song Setup > Meta Information

I'm not seeing how to do that on the Start page.

You can add artists on start page by clicking on the small document icon on the artist profile tab.
