Studio One fade not working when using Melodyne

Hi, I have an audio event that I am trying to fade out, but when I do, it has no effect if the event has Melodyne on it. The fade is simply ignored. I use Studio One Pro 7 with Melodyne Essential. Is this a known issue?

You have to press this little fader symbol to be yellow "Process Volume after Event Effects"

Question? Can you not Render Melodyne so that it will be removed from the clip? That is what I am used to doing in Sonar.

You don't have to render Melodyne or any other Event FX

So Melodyne is still running in the background?? That could cause issues with larger projects.
I understand that standard effects like reverb are never rendered but in Sonar it was the recommended practice if you didn’t want audio problems. I thought that was how ARA worked in all Daw’s?
Make a safe copy. Then open it in Melodyne and when finished render it which prints the editing. Done
Im travelling right now but will definitely look into this later.

Thank you. I thought so. I haven’t had a chance to try using Melodyne yet.
In Sonar I assigned the Z key to open the selected clip and then the X key to render. I prefer to work with short clips one at a time.

This is all possible in Studio One via Key Commands also:
