Room Reverb Null Test

If I export a track/channel with Room Reverb as an insert effect, and then use Mixtool to phase invert the exported file, the original and exported audio will not be null. Using Mixverb or other third-party reverbs will null the original/rendered audio as expected.

Is it a bug or feature?

It is not a bug. The reason is possibly when you are using Room Reverb in realtime it is something that is happening live and will be different if you think about it every time due to the nature of how reverb is created. The export has only captured that reverb in a moment of time. So it will never be the same as the room reverb in real time.

A much more expensive reverb might be more accurate every time hence the null may be better

Modulared reverbs won’t null. Doesn’t matter the cost.
