remote feedback problem

Hello,

I'm having a problem where my controllers (Faderfox MX12 and PC12, as well as MPK249) aren't receiving remote data from Studio Pro 8, for example, Solo/Mute or Sync. This means that while I can control the parameter remotely in Studio Pro, nothing changes when I adjust the parameter with the mouse. With Mute/Solo, the issue is that when Solo is selected, all other channels should be muted. However, nothing happens on my controller, where the Mute buttons are assigned.

What could be causing this?

I'm using generic MIDI controllers and not the Mackie protocol.

I've tried configuring the controllers as both a keyboard and a control surface.

I've also tried using MIDI DIN instead of USB MIDI for testing purposes.

ChatGPT suggested I need to enable "Send Feedback" somehow. I can't find this function anywhere.

Does anyone have a similar problem or can offer any help?

Best regards,
Erik

Can you screenshot this Device in Fender Pro so we can see how it's set up with MIDI etc?

Also please update your specs in your signature.

In the meantime check that the drivers and firmware are up to date for your controllers.

Firmware is up to date and driver is class compliant. I have checked out website of Faderfox. There are no optional drivers.

Hiya,

"Send feedback" from your OP
You might be looking for this setting when creating your remote device... see pic below.

Kind regards, hope this helps.

Yeah, that is exactly what I was looing for. Thank you very much!!!

This leads to the next question: Do I really have to adjust this for each controller individually?

No, you should only need to send feedback where feedback can be received or seen. You can if you choose to tho'.

The faders on the Faderfox MX12 are not motorized so no benefit in doing that, I can think of, but hey ho', you only do it once when setting up a controller or keyboard. Then forget about it.

Kindest regards.
