Hey everyone,
I’m wondering if it’s possible to change the velocity of a ratchet within a pattern. For example, if I create a step that repeats 4 times (a 4x ratchet), is there a way to assign different velocities to each individual note of that ratchet?
I’d like to create a kind of volume ramp-up effect like each ratcheted hit gets progressively louder. Is this doable within the sequencer, or would I need to manually program each ratchet step?
The only way I could figure out how to do it was change the pattern to a part and than I have access to all the note velocities but I lose the ability to create variations and if I make the velocity changes and switch back to a pattern it reverts to the original ratchet without the velocity changes.
Thanks in advance!
