Whenever I arm a track with a mic or guitar I get this terrible bitcrushing noise. It only stops for a moment if i restart my interface or change the sample rate. I think its a clock source issue but I don't know how to switch to internal. How do you fix this? I can't record vocals or guitar.

Please update your signature with your hardware specs, OS and software etc.
Make sure Studio One and Fender Universal Control are on the latest versions (or latest version you paid for).
UC is on version 5.
In Studio One please show us screenshots of Tools -> Audio Setup
(BTW try flipping the tickbox around in "release audio device in background")
In Universal Control show us screenshots of your setup.
Maybe screenshot of your tracks in Studio One too.
