Quantum HD 8 sending FX to Cue mix

I have installed the presonus system on a win 11 computer.
Here's the problem
  • I have a guitar connected to input 1 in my HD 8
  • St1 has a track routed to that input
  • I have inp monitor engaged at my guitar track in st1
  • I have 4 Cue mixes routed to 5-6/7-8/9-10/adat 5-6
  • I have a HP Amp connected to the same outputs as my Cue Mixes
  • I have a perfect no latency dry signal in my Cue output 5-6 when Blue Z is engaged
  • When sending from my guitar track to FX1 (with a delay) and this sending Cue mix 1 routed to output 5-6 there is no delay in Que 1 routed to output 5-6
  • BUT there is effect in the other Cues, routed as explained.
  • I have turned off speaker Switch for outp 3-4 and I don't use it for Cue mixes
  • When I use Blue Z St1 ST1 (or UC) still is sending signal to output 3-4. I can see in the display of my Cue HD 8
  • The issue does NOT appear in instrument tracks, only analog tracks.
Anyone with same issue?

Answer from the hip: Your HD8 has a mixer inside for each of its outputs. The blue Z (not the green Z) option uses these mixers for its zero latency monitor mixes. It also means that you have to use the UC (Universal Control) app to dial in those mixes inside the HD8. Probably at the moment every input is mixed to every output or some other not very practical default setting.
