Now that the MPE issue has been solved by setting the automation limiting to zero, things are working lovely. However, I'm pushing it a bit When I play with MPE to two different tracks with two different MPE instruments, I'll often find S1 freezes up. I assume it's being overloaded with data?
So, I moved dropout protection from minimal to medium, and that seems to help though I'm not totally sure exactly why it helps.
A question though: does it make any difference if I'm recording to two separate tracks simultaneously? Would I be any better off it I put the two instruments on one track? It still has to send all the MPE data to both instruments, though it's only recording the data once?
Any insight as to how this works?
