Plugin Shows Not Available, but Is Installed

I had to rebuild my PC, so I did a fresh install of studio one and rebuilt my plugin library. I have Ozone Imager 2 on some tracks. It is newly installed but for some reason the instance of it in my projects doesn't see the installled version. I don't know if this has to do with the location it was installed, or a version change or something? While I can re-add the plugin to the track, won't know what my exact settings were. Is there any way to find out why it thinks the plugin is not installed, any way to point it at the installed version?
Thanks in advance

Just a guess: before you had the VST2 version installed, now it is VST3. Technically these are distinct versions of with a unique ID.

That's one of the reasons why I created Studio One Toolbox :-)

You can drag your song file onto this website and it will show you all instrument and effect plug-ins used in this song - including the VST version of the plug-ins.

As we see on the screenshot, your installed version of Ozone Imager 2 ist VST3.

To add it is important to make sure that when you do a new build that you have made screen shots of the old builds vst folders.
That way you can double check that they will end up where they were. Otherwise opening the old projects might not find them in some Daw’s.

A lot of plugins will default to either the Steinberg VST folder or the VST plug in folder etc. Some plugins actually will create these folders if they don’t exist.
At least now the VST 3 ‘s seem to all go to the same folder.

Sorry - took me a long time to check back on this - thanks for all the replies. I'm sure you're right with it being VST2 and I'll install that version and see if it fixes. In fact I just confirmed it with @Lukas toolbox - that is soo helpful! Thank you.
