This is a song I wrote to address music made with strictly artificial intelligence (Suno, etc). There are people who use these "tools" to make a complete song. You can do that in about 2 minutes. Where's the creativity in it? You're not creating, the app is. It just seems to me ridiculous to take "pride" in something you made a computer app do. It's about as creative as "making" a slice of toast. The song asks "is this the direction music production is going in where we don't have to put any effort into studying theory, getting proficient at playing an instrument or ear training or even being inspired. Just push a button and pop out a song like buying a piece of candy from a vending machine. It's not what I want to do and not what I want to listen to but more and more music forums are catering to it. AI is good in some ways and not so good in others. IMHO it doesn't belong in artistic creativity. It will become boring quicky without the human element, at least to humans. I think AI is OK to use for suggestions but to just conger up a song with it and call it a work of art is stretching things a bit.
Production notes: I used Vocalsynth 2 on this. I tried so hard to make the robotic voice more understandable but could not so I had to link here to my Soundclick where I could post the lyrics. It's part Vocalsynth and part natural voice. I'd like to know if there are any other users of Vocalsynth or any like program who can give me any tips on how this more understandable. I'd appreciate that.
