Navigate to song/session files tab?

Hi guys,
Anyone know if there’s an easy/quick way to get S1 (fender1 or whatever) to navigate straight to the song folder in the files tab of the current song you’re working on?
Or failing that, I’d basically just like an efficient way to split a stereo track to 2 mono tracks. The only way I can find to do that is through the files tab which seems a bit clunky to me.

To split a stereo track in Studio One to two mono tracks, the easiest way is using the Browser's Files tab, where you right-click the stereo file and select "Split to Mono Files," which creates separate L/R files you can drag in; alternatively, for tracks already in the song, use the "Modify Audio Channels" option on the clip for in-place splitting, or "Bounce to New Track" after panning to create mono instances.

Since what you're asking for is not a terribly common issue, this is the most logical way.

Thanks, perhaps ‘modify audio channels’ is what I’m after. I didn’t know that was an option.

It's a good feature request and one that I suggested to the team already a few years ago. There's no command or other quick way to go to the song folder in the Files tab.

Workaround: You can drag folders into the Files tab to add a new tab with this folder. Session -> Show in Explorer/Finder command (for example via keyboard shortcut). Then drag the folder from Finder into the Files tab to locate this folder. This is the quickest way I'm aware of.

Thanks Lukas, that sounds like a sensible workaround, I’ll try that. Guess I’ll need a sticky note somewhere to remind me to delete the tab once I’ve finished so I don’t end up with a billion tabs ;)
