Metronome precount bars

In Studio One 7.2.3.108761 Win x64 (Built on Oct 23 2025)

ist the highest possible number to set the precount bars REALLY 4 bars?!?

Or is this adjustable?!

4 bars it is (16 beats for a 4/4 song), which can be like forever. How many bars would you like to have? Note that preroll allows 16 bars.

8. Songs in 3/4 leave little time in certain settings (activate the movieclap, grab the banjo, get the right position in front of the camera etc....).
It kinda sux but no big deal either. Some drawbacks do not hurt.

To save some time have you tried Studio One Remote? It allows you to start a recording (and do more) from a smartphone/tablet.

Alternatively you can create a simple beat pattern and use preroll instead.

Studio One Remote is very powerful - it’s at least the equal of payware Stream Deck XL profiles!
