Melodyne Grey-Outs

I’m trying to create a bass tab from a separated bass stem using Melodyne from within Studio One. I’m also trying to follow jsl’s method from an earlier thread: Step #7 “Use Melodyne’ s quantization macro to tighten up the timing.”

But when I go to Edit>Macros, I find that Correct Pitch, Quantize Time and Note Leveling are all greyed-out.

I checked to see if I have the latest Melodyne version from it’s Help menu at it says I have the latest.

Attached is a screen shot of the blobs.

Any idea why I’m getting grey-outs?

A possible related observation is that when I Edit>Select All, I see no evidence that anything is being selected.

A secondary/more general question: Is there any interest in asking Presonus to consider making the process of creating bass tabs more automated in future versions of Studio One?

Do you have Compare enabled?

That would turn them gray and disable items...

Nope. Compare is not enabled and for grins I checked it enabled and disabled and the grey remains.
I also Quit S1 and brought it back up; to no effect.

I do notice in your pic a 1/3 shaded square to the left of your compare button; I don't have that square.

I have Melodyne Essential 5.4.2.006 ARA
