Maintaining track & marker relationship

I'm currently learning a songs parts on the guitar and I'm working through each part of the arrangement. I've imported the audio file into S1 and I've added the markers at key points (verse, chorus, bridge). I can't yet play the song up to speed so I've set the audio file to slow down by about 80% so that I can work out the parts without it whizzing by at full speed. The problem is when using the Speedup feature in the inspector the markers don't follow the now stretched out audio, is there a way to make markers adaptable? Rather than a fixed static position.

Yes, set the tempo of your Audio Event (right-click or event inspector), then set the Tempo settings of the track to "Timestretch". Now you can change the song tempo to your desired tempo.

Before that, make sure that the Time Format of the Marker Track is set to Beats instead of Seconds.
