An updated version of the Instrument Mapping add-on is currently being developed. It has a much better workflow, more reliable matching, and is applicable to a wider range of use cases. I'll share it later after I finish testing it but for now I'm just sharing a video of it's current state.

The demos I gave out earlier should have expired on Nov 1. I spent that time using it a lot and doing more testing. The current version 2.2 has wider fields for better or more diverse name matching in the editor and some other improvments are on the table.

• Optimized track loading code
• Option to automatically color tracks on load
• Option to automatically load icons on tracks
• Optionally get notified of tracks that didn't load
• Removed 'Always Instance' option

To Do: Figure out how to make the color pop up editable, to eidt colors, load, and save different color presets from there.
