How do I export midi files so my Quad Cortex/Kemper can be triggered by an external midi track player?

So here's the thing... I have a Kemper Profiler and a Quad Cortex (both face the same problem) that I want to trigger via midi. When I connect them to my PC (thus to my Studio One 7 DAW) I can trigger scenes, patches, sound changes and so on. No problem here.
BUT I don't have my homestudio with me when we play live. So my bands solution is to use the Cymatic LP-16 (which is also our backing track player) to trigger the guitar amp's effect changes.

So what's my problem, you might think? Well... I can't get Studio One to export these Midi Files that I can use with the Cymatic Live Player. My solution for the last few years always was to edit the Midi changes in cubase and export them from there. Which works absolutely fine, but is a pain in the ass, because I always have to jump between DAWs and projects.

Yesterday I asked ChatGPT (don't laugh :D) for help and it suggested it might be different Midi formats (format 0 and format 1?). It seems the LP-16 can only read the one coming out of cubase (version 12 LE AI btw.) and not the one coming from Studio One.

So... how do I get Studio One to export the same midi type of file that's coming out of cubase?

Thank you for your help.

Hey, thank you for your reply. I in fact use CC# and PC commands.
But if Studio One doesn't export these commands, no wonder it doesn't work.
I really would've hoped for using only one big project in one DAW.

Few solutions.
Both Studio one and Cubase 14 support Daw Project.
This might make it simple to open the Studio 1 project in Cubase and the re-save as midi.

Steinberg has affordable upgrade options when they have a sale. I upgraded from a free copy of LE to Elements back at version 7 for under $50.
Then last fall I upgraded from version 7 to 14 for about the same amount.

A second option would be Sonars new free version. Sonar definitely retains all the midi information as well as you can choose type 0 or type 1.
