Further to Plugins in SP8 - Anyone seeing preset settings NOT recalling from older sessions

Saw an interesting post on another forum this morning:

"I updated to Studio Pro 8 & if I try to use SOME of my custom saved presets for a effect plugin (example UAD DBX) it will load the preset & use it but once saved/closed & reopened - the project will not recall the custom preset settings & opens the plugin on default settings"

Anyone seeing this in their initial travels in SP8?

If you have seen anything like this - do share. Trying to see if this is a defect or an user specific/machine specific case.

Assuming that tens/hundreds of thousands have upgraded now and if this was rampant - this would have been big news.

VP, does this help.
Have run a few old projects in SP8 all OK so far, have yet to run a full session from scratch.
Anyway just loaded an old song from SO1.7 and checked out a couple of UAD plugins "Century Tube channel" and "Pultec MEQ-5 EQ", are working fine, Did the save my preset in the plugin gui, closed SP8, reload SP8 and song, my custom presets were loaded, seems OK here.

They should check if Options -> Locations -> Use cached plug-in data on save is enabled. Some plug-ins don't properly report parameter changes to the host so the host won't save them. If the option is enabled, it's worth trying if disabling it fixed the issue.
