Just loaded studio one. Long time cakewalk user. Program only recognizes my main focus rite sound board and not the extension. How do I get all my channels?

It would be helpful to learn about your setup in more detail (OS, S1/SP version, hardware interface models) but I'll assume you're using the Focusrite's ADAT port(s) for the "extension".
Those extra inputs should show up in the original interface channels, labeled ADAT1in1, ADAT1in2 ... or something likewise.
Next you'll have to tell the DAW you have those inputs in the I/O screen (button top left of the console).
Hope this helps, otherwise please provide more details about your setup and the problem you're having. The signature is used for these setup details on this forum. Convenient so you only have to enter it once. Screenshots can clarify a specific problem a lot.

Thank you. that was exactly what I found. I added the inputs and got everything mapped and its working
