Export „Media“ with rendered Insert FX changed behaviour in SO 7

In Studio One 6 when using the Drag and Drop "Export „Media“ with rendered Insert FX" method, an exported MONO File from a MONO Track would result in a MONO File. (which I think this is how it should work)
In Studio One 7 the same process always would result in a STEREO File (also with the panning included).
Is this really the desired behaviour?
When exporting Stems we have the option to check the "keep speaker format" option.
The is no such option with the "export Media" function.

This seems to be related to the change in behaviour of the "Transform to rendered Audio" process, which also always results in a Mono- becoming a Stereo File in SO7 .
I think we need a "Keep Speaker format" option with all those processes, like we have in the "Bounce to new Track (keep speaker format)" function.

I read this a lot lately, but I never had the need to use it.
Tried it now myself and you are right, a mono get's rendered as stereo file when used the Drag and Drop "Export „Media“ with rendered Insert FX" method

Looks like someone had also the same Problem 14h ago and posted a fresh Feature Request :)
But I think there already similar requests.
So maybe we find the Request with the highest vote and stick to it?

Also looks like this is allready discused here in the forum.
Here is a possible workaround.

At least there is a Split to Mono Option when we right click the File in the Browser.

But I like it also easy and I like drag and drop so i vote for make it happen again :)

Yes, I know the workarounds and also created my own.
It just bugs me, that with SO 7 we have no simple way to easily render mono-files on a mono track to a mono file/track with the insert fx included.
It worked perfectly in SO 6, so this is a miss to me. We´ll see....

Is that also with mono files/channels to mono channels? If you select a stereo channel for a mono track (e.g. to be able to get the stereo benefits from stereo plugins) then rendering with inserted processing will produce stereo files. You can't have your cake and eat it too.

Yes it´s with mono files on mono channels, that´s the problem and that's what I describe in my opening post.
See pictures:

Action: Drag and Drop: export Media with rendered FX then re-import.
Result: Mono File on Mono Track:

So in SO 7 I can´t fine an easy way to render insert fx with a MONO File on a MONO Track into a MONO file which was a one-click process in
SO 6.
