Event fx plugin macro

Hello!

I am trying to replicate Pro Tools clip effects where I will select a clip/event and hit one key and it will add a specific eq filter.

So I would like to add an eq plugin to an event, and select for example a high pass filter at 100hz. How can I accomplish this with just one key press?

You can use my "Add Effect" macros for that or create your own macros.

You just have to use the command for adding Event FX instead. Then you can assign a shortcut to the macro or access it with the Find feature shown in the video.

Another thanks to Lukas for both an excellent addition, and in the way you presented add effect and instruments, using find through your videos. This is splendid, as I use many of the same effects (both 3rd party and Studio One effects), but I don't want to utilize templates. So working from a clean slate, but having quick access by typing them in, is just very nice!

You're the best presenter of Studio one videos, bar none.

Just revisiting this to say thank you @Lukas! I created the macro and can now add a high pass with a custom keyboard shortcut.
