Eris Studio 5. Bad Gear in undamaged Box.

The Eris Studio 5 arrived in an undamaged box. It appeared to be perfectly packaged and shrink-wrapped. Both the first and the outer boxes showed no signs of damage. It was therefore shipped to the retailer in this condition. How could something like this go unnoticed?

Hi Trucky, yes i did. They'll send me a new one as soon as they receive the broken one in the return shipment. However, I don't understand how something like this could be overlooked during quality control or final processing. Or is it possible that damaged items that have been returned are simply repackaged and returned to the retailer?

My guess: It happened between QC and packing. How do you check that something is perfect condition after closing the box?

Yes exactly, they can`t check it. But if I would drop a Monitor, I would have a look for if it`s damaged or not and this seems to had a fall.

Not here to judge any person, employees nor company, but if you feel your job is in danger, you might want to cover up a drop like that. Box it, send it and no-one is the wiser (except for you, fat is).
Hope you'll get the replacement monitor soon. I'm very happy with my pair.
