Does the Quantum ES2 remember the knob setting.

I am considering getting a Quantum ES2 to record audio in a church setting. The ES2 Will be operated by volunteers. My question is, if I select headphone level for the knob and then cycle power, will the ES2 remember that setting?

Also will all input and output levels be recalled after cycling power?

Yes, settings can be saved as scenes to the computer.

The volunteers will record a stereo mix from the main mixer. We use Audacity as a DAW for that.

The ES2 should automatically recall input and output gain. All that the volunteers should change is headphone level. I may even block access to buttons they don't need.

So if everything is set and the laptop is power cycled will the ES2 recall its gain settings and will the knob control headphone level?

It should but be sure to set up exactly what you want for them and save the default scene to the laptop so you can recall it if needed.
