Solved Does Dropout Protection Enabled Impact Mixdown Process?

Just curious - I have a mix that's getting pretty hefty and most of the intensive plugins are on my bus channels so I have Dropout Protection set to Medium. Does keeping this enabled impact the mixdown at all? Should I disable it before mixing down the song?

No.

When you bounce or export, Studio One doesn’t use the real-time engine. Instead, it switches to offline rendering, giving plug-ins all the time they need to process.

An exception might be real-time rendering, which is used when bouncing or exporting tracks or channels that involve Pipeline or AUX channels.
