Disable Melodyne?

In using the "Edit With Melodyne" feature on each event, is it possible to temporarily disable the Melodyne on some or all of the events? If so, how?

Thanks

:)John B

Temporarily no. When you 'Edit with Melodyne' you allow Melodyne (which runs outside S1/SP) to grab that audio file and return its edited version to the song in a live fashion. When you 'Remove Melodyne' from the event you'll revert back to the original file, or you have to 'Render' the event first to keep the edited version. Those are your options :)

Interesting. As it turns out you can actually temporarily disable Melodyne on events. With the event selected open the Inspector and expand the (bottom) event section. For events edited with Melodyne it will show a highlighted 'Render' button. Right below that button you can expand 'Event FX' and then the Melodyne entry. It opens a menu where (amongst other options) you can Disable or Remove Melodyne. 'Disable' will revert the event back to the original file (or last rendered version) but it retains your Melodyne edits for when you enable Melodyne again. Cool :)

Yes, that is a cool trick! It also works for other ARA processors, like SynchroArts VocAlign.

I see what you mean. Thanks!
