Disable Cursor Relocating when changing global tempo?

Macos - Presonus Studio 7

Hi, I am practising some drum grooves, but every time I change the global tempo to slow it down or to speed the track up, the cursor keeps relocating. I don't want the cursor to be moving when I change the tempo. was wondering if someone can point me in the right direction?

Yes, it's a known issue and has been for several years.

Ah thanks.........thought was a matter of a simple button but looks like it's just one of those missing features...at least now I know I can stop searching for answers!
