Besides have the freeze icon/button on the track, did the behavior change?
I had been experimenting with a lot of different drum kits and because Studio Pro keeps locking up, I wanted to cut down on the time it takes to load my project.
I start with this:
As I start freezing, it not only doesn't preserve the track name, but it screws up the order.
Previously I have frozen instrument tracks without it renaming (same project):
The other issue is that Studio Pro reports clipping for every track I try to freeze. I have not figured out how to get past this other than going into the instrument plugin and reducing the output to almost nothing. Perhaps I'm just being dense (I am having a rough day lol), but lowering faders, input trim etc don't seem to help). What am I missing?
