Solved Copy the Same Plugins Across the Mix

Hi;
I was wondering if I can copy a plugin like, say Waves E Channel across all open channels in a project instead of bringing them in one by one. I tried holding Control+a but that doesn't seem to work. If it should what am I doing wrong? It would be a real time saver.

Thanks
John B :)

On Mac I can do this by first selecting all target channels including the one with the plugin (click leftmost, shift-click rightmost), then Alt-drag the plugin for a copy in its own channel (which then copies the plugin to all other selected channels too), then delete the extra copy in the source channel. Maybe a cheat solution but it works for me.

[NB. Alt-drag is probably a Mac thing. Replace with the 'copy instead of move' equivalent for PC]

I'm sorry. I should've specified it's a PC (Windows 11).

Thanks Switchback. :) Your post helped me anyway. "Selecting all target channels" did it for me. It never occurred to me to try that. I was using control+a.

John B;)

I use a custom macro - which selects all channels and adds my desired plugin to each.

See Joe lay it down for ya...

FYI - There's a free addon script by @Lukas called "Navigation Essentials" that provides an essential macropage as well as 32 new commands to Studio One. One of the commands is "Select All Tracks" which provides another easy way to select and add a plugin to all your tracks.
