I am going crazy, although I 'autosave' the days activity, when I re open my project the next time my waveforms are sometimes missing within the coloured track strips.
The event 'scribbles' are stored in the song's Cache/Images subdirectory. Two things that may help you solve this:
You can always close a song and delete its Cache/Images subdirectory. When you reopen the song it will create a clean fresh set of images.
Always check the Cache Activity meter at the bottom of the screen before closing a song. As long as the meter is running the caching isn't done yet. Closing a song when the Cache Activity meter is running results in incomplete cache files/images the next time you open that song.
