Hello: Studio One has been acting a little weird recently with occasional freezing. At the moment I find that S1 will not add a MIDI track when I double click on the Instrument track. Actually nothing happens when I double click. I tried several things and found that if I CTRL-left mouse I can select an existing MIDI track in the Instrument track and delete it but that is not normal behavior. Did I press something by mistake that changed the way S1 works? Thanks for any advice.

Hello Lukas: Thanks for the clarification, it's "events", not "things" that you add by double-clicking on the Instrument track 
. The answer is that restarting Studio One or even rebooting the laptop does not fix the issue. What can I do? I'm trying to take advantage of the Christmas vacation days to advance on some of my music creation stuff and would hate to be stuck with this issue for too long.
