Bundled software Fender 8 vs. PreSonus 7 compared

I renewed my Studio One 7 perpetual license during the 2025 Black Friday sale, and when I checked my Fender account today I noticed something interesting: I’ve got the “Gift” license for Fender Studio Pro 8 that others mention. It runs through December 31, 2026. So, it looks like I ended up with an extra month tacked onto my coverage.

While poking around the bundled software, I saw there are some differences between the Studio Pro 7 and Studio Pro 8 bundled software (no surprise).

I couldn’t find an official comparison anywhere, so I put together a table to make it easier to see what’s the same and what’s changed between the two.

Arturia Dist Coldfire was a limited-duration freebie that was only available in (IIRC) November 2025. Otherwise, nice chart!

Yes. I remember Coldfire was a special offer. I picked it up back then . Haven't used it yet. . I should update the table.

I just bought Studio One 7 at the turn of the year and it did come with a Melodics offer. What it came with seems to be unlimited, but you only get to practice for 5 minutes a day. In the Fender Studio Pro perk, it says you get 40 lessons. I'd almost rather keep the 5-minutes a day and unlimited than only get 40 lessons, so I'm not sure I'm going to use the new perk. Anyhoo, just wanted to let you know in case you wanted to update your chart.
