Buggy Realtime Bouncing Instrument/Audio Tracks through Analog Gear

Hi you guys,

since I upgraded to the new Fender Studio Pro 8, the External Instrument Plugin (former PiplineXT) chrashes the program, if I want to bounce any kind of track (instrument or audio) in realtime using some of my analog gear. In the previous version this kind of bouncing tracks of any kind through my analog gear was never a problem at all.
The funny thing is, if I just bounce a shorter region, 8 bars e.g., of a audio/instrument track it works perfectly fine. But longer parts with 60 bars or more always crash my session after the whole part played in realtime through. The daw simply doesn’t create a audio track freezes and I’m unable to do anything and don’t know why.
So, as you might think this is quite frustrating. I also wrote the Fender/Presonus support, but I thought I might report this bug here to, because maybe one of you guys has the same issues like I do and I hope you could help me in this misery. :/

Thanks in advance

Thanks.

8.0.2?

Are you able to update your signature with your hardware and software spec's please.

yes I’m running on the 8.0.2. updated my specs also👍🏽

Hi - just tried to replicate here. Ran a kick mic track through one of my outboard compressors via "Bounce to new track (Keep Speaker Format)" and didn't get a crash. it was about 2:30 total length. Happy to try out some other permutations if you can think of any though.

Thank's for trying to replicate the issue, after reading your answer I tried all the possible bouncing options, but either one of them got the project to freeze.
I also tried to turn off all the inserts in my project to lower the cpu usage and ran the keyscapce piano track through my summing mixer. Unfortunately I got a chrash again, but this time the full audiofile was bounced correctly in the bounce folder of this current project in the explorer. In previous testings the audiofiles of such were always corrupted. This is sort of a small workaround, but I'm not fully pleased with the current state.

Any idea of the plugin version?
I'm far away from any computer, I just thought maybe you might be running antivirus, if so excluding the appropriate paths where bounce takes place etc and make sure windows update and drivers are fully up to date. Maybe scan storage for errors. Obvious basic stuff I know.

Good thoughts you got, but I also did that already. All my plugins, drivers, and winupdate are on the newest version.

Ok antivirus may be locking files, long shot. Had it before. And if you don't have antivirus a virus may be doing the same ;) Very unlikely but always a possibility.

Hey, just tried it again, this time with a 7+ minute file. Still no crash here. Tried 2 different compressors on different outputs. Happy to help if you can think of anything else to try, but no luck replicating so far.
