Hi guys,
Do you use organ sounds in Presence ? I would like to, but it make noise I find annoying, but maybe it’s the normal sound ? Could you tell me ? Here is a record fo what is produced with standard « Organ 8 » on my PC. Note that other instruments don’t make those noises. https://www.lipica.fr/test2/

I get a lot of clicks from the organ library. Other libraries have the odd instrument patch that doesn’t even make any sound until you turn off the filter or adjust the big knob . I do wish presonus would revisit the libraries and fix and improve presence xt and create more content
The free version of CollaB is a pretty good emulator and has control over what they call key clicks. Get it directly from Sampleson.com. They also have some great Electric Pianos all very reasonable prices. I’ve got a lot of them.
My all time favourite Organ is the DB33 from Air Music. Too bad they don’t seem to have any sales like they used to. I think I paid $15.
I also own DB33 and like its sound (except the overdrive sound of the Leslie amp, which I find a bit harsh), but there are some bugs in the plugin. The most annoying one is the controller assignment for the 2 2/3' drawbar not being stored in the project or in a preset file (controller assingnments of all other drawbars are, however). I have a keyboard controller with 8 assignable sliders which I use to control the drawbars while playing. Because of the bug I have to re-assign the 2 2/3' drawbar each time I load a song. I'm afraid that the bugs in DB33 never will get fixed, as Air Music Tech replaced DB33 by a new plugin simply called "Organ". BTW: "Organ"'s Leslie also has a harsh sounding overdrive.
2 years ago, I purchased NI Komplete 14. That included the NI Vintage Organs plugin, which sounds even better than the DB33. The amp emulation sounds warm and tube-like. And it stores controller assignments correctly. So I don't use DB33 any more. But of course, NI Vintage Organs is not free.
Agree with a lot of Air plugins are buggy and they have never felt like they need to fix anything.
The initial price is not reasonable but years ago they always were on sale dirt cheap. I think I bought a bundle for $50 that included just about everything they made. The only 2 I use are DB33 and Xpand2.
The major bug for me is that the presets you make aren’t saved. And you are correct about from time to time I have to re set the whole thing because it returns to the default settings which are awful. I like the New setting and then I adjust the bars to suit the song. What I have been doing in Sonar is getting it set up the way I want it and freezing the track. I’ll have to learn how to do that in S1 now. But I’ve been using the CollaB lately because it’s been stable.
