Solved Audio present with all tracks muted (after moving track snippets)

Hello, All.

I am a new member here and hope everyone is going great!

The version of Studio One I am using is Studio One 5 Pro. I am running this on an Alienware desktop with Core I9 CPU and ample RAM.

My scenario is as follows:

1) Recording 4 tracks of audio for 60 min (3 tracks are grouped into a drum bus) plus one room mic
2) Identify sections I want to discard. I am using the blade tool making cuts and then highlight the tracks in the sections I want to get rid of and either press DEL or Backspace to delete the sections from the timeline
3) I end up with a timeline that has some small gaps and some larger gaps
4) All good up to here!
5) I am moving the blocks of remaining tracks on the timeline to close large gaps.
6) I now have faint (but very audible) audio that I first identified in silent passages. Trying to troubleshoot this I muted all tracks. The Main still shows a signal from the "ghost" audio
7) I am using very few plug-ins (EQ, compressor and limiter), which are all PreSonus
8) Disabling all plug-ins and the Console Shaper made no difference

I am convinced I am making some rooky mistake, so any help would we greatly appreciated!

Best,

Oliver

Thank you!!! Yes, I did have hidden tracks and one actually had a mic attached (Bass track). Not sure why that audio bled through with the track being disabled, but maybe that is by design. Genius! Thank you do much!!!
