Solved Audio Event Overlays (visability & sound)

Guys,
A little help on two issues.
For some reason, this used to be so easy and I'm just not seeing how to fix this.
1. I used to be able to see two audio events overlapping one another. This allowing the lower layered event to be seen through the upper. Sort of an opaque view of seeing the lower event.

2. I also used to be able to hear that lower audio event and not just abruptly sound, once the audio event before it ended.

What fixes these two issues? I apologize but I seem to be having a senior moment.

Is No. 2 in the track inspector, tick box just below Layers follow events ?

Regards old friend ... senior moment. tsk!, I have those, all too often these days:ROFLMAO:

This is "No overlap when editing events" under the wrench.

And this is (as sintil8 said) a track setting: "Play overlaps" in the inspector.

Thanks, Sint. I just discovered the [Play Overlays] now, in the backyard. I was determined and I see now Lukas & Trucky also had my back.

I must have inadvertently checked that. I was opening some old songs I may rehash for an album and they weren't opened since v5 & v6.
Items solved.

In the past, I thought there was a little more control in viewing though overlapped events, besides gridlines. I guess not.
... I think what I was viewing in the past was that when dragging an audio event over another, in that dragging process only, the two events with their waveforms are viewed. Actually, the important part of the process. Yep....... senior moment. ; )

Thanks everyone!

Opaque events, could be a feature request, if you fancy a toddle over to Presonus HQ and stick a post it note on the front door.

Best regards

I'll probably hold off FR'ing. It might be too much and less clear on the whole. I see the events can be dragged and viewed at that time. Thankfully, Studio One will reveal a different shade of color on overlapped events or tails. Indicating something is covered.

I'm good buddy, and best to keep the most needed requests tacked onto the door.
Best 👌
