This one has bothered me for longer than I can remember - but I wanted to throw it out here.
If I do a heavy customize to empty session file and get the workspace file looking exactly perfect with all the VERY specific things I want to see (and not see) everytime I use the new template - WHY does the Macro toolbar have a mind of it's own and not respect that fact that it is also part of the template?
Earlier this week - I finally got around to getting the new Toolbox Heaven going in v7.11 (from the awesome crew at Kulture Sounds). I had to do some very heavy macro housecleaning to rid all the previous TB 1, TB II related macros - in favor of the newly supplied Magic Toolbar v3.
Once my macro folder was finally clean and the new Magic Toolbar v3 installed - I did some basic testing using the VERY empty (New->User->Record and Mix supplied template) and messed around for 10 minutes checking the TB Heaven stuff. Closed that out and exited Studio One.
Then I come in this morning for a voiceover session - using my very specific VO template with what I thought was my very specific Macro Toolbar - and there I see the Toolbox Heaven Magic Toolbar 3 layout still taking center stage instead of my VO specific macro bar.
Now - I get that it is easy to simply switch - but why oh why - with what appears to be about 97% coverage in place for templates - Presonus cannot seem to get it in their heads that a user might just want their specific Macro bar to also be part of their template?
There must be a reason for this and I am racking my brains as to what it might be.
