Vocal issues Focusrite/Studioone AR12c. both i/o's same result

Hello, Though I have followed and believe my I/O settings are good both i\o results on vocals are choppy and unclear. At first I thought clipping was the cause but that is not the case. I'm working in studio One Pro 7 along with the Studiolive AR12c.
