v7 Demo - what to look for compared to v6?

I'm going to try out the v7 demo on 30 day trial, and just wondered what you guys would recommend me to look at in terms of the most important changes from v6.
Obviously, I can look at the differences on various web sites, etc., but just wanted to get a feel for what guys felt were the good improvements after using v7 for a few months now.
Thanks a lot.

For me personally, it's the scale additions for MIDI editing and instrument busses (only in "manual mode" since for me this feature only makes sense for instruments with multiple outputs).

Small but very welcome addition: Dragging samples into the Pattern Editor (if you're using Impact as an Instrument) which was not possible before v7.

Thanks for that.
Anyone else have favourite new features?

I don't think the v7 demo provides everything, as I haven't checked that, but as for version 7 on a whole, there's a lot to like.

The big one is clip launching. Select B on your keys. Just get a feel for that. People well versed with Ableton Live will point out the launcher's lack of being full featured (comparatively) while others will enjoy some of the uniqueness of how it's implemented. Personally, I like the horizontal 1:1 relationship between the arrangement view, the launcher, and the scratchpad.

Version Seven now includes all of the add on features, that used to cost extra, such as the Orchestral library, Presonus Editor, Batch converter, and well.... Just about everything.

New are the stem separator, global transpose, and more.
Version Seven as I see it is largely the single biggest "throw in" of any Studio One version yet. I'm not saying best, but it is undoubtedly the biggest add on the goodies version to date.
But don't take my word for it. Here's a Sound on Sound review. It saves us a lot of chitter-chatter. ; )

You get the idea .....
Enjoy!

I know that you asked for opinions here in the thread. Just in case you're not familiar with the Studio One Tutorial database and you want to get an overview, you can specifically search videos for Studio One 7 in the database:
