I just refurbished my old Roland Juno 60 - I've had it 42 years - and it works great. Then I found this cool device that will allow me to use midi with it called Valpower.
To use it you just run a USB cable from your computer to it. It uses the squarish plug on its end but otherwise normal USB cord. When I hooked it up and went to Optons/External Devices there it was: Juno 60. Cool... I thought. I made a new song and added a midi track, but it was not in the drop down with the other instruments. So I started searching for a reason it wasn't being seen. On the Console view I looked at the external devices and there it was. I reset it, edited it, removed it and put it back, all to no avail.
You should know that this thing works in other DAWs. I have Reason and Sonar and it works fine in them. Also, I've seen it demoed in Ableton and Protools. So I know it works. I must be missing something somewhere in Studio One that will somehow activate it.
Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I'm running Windows 10 on an Asus laptop with lots of ram, etc. I'm using Studio One v7 and a Presonus Studio24c for my interface.
Also, I have a Lot of experience hooking up and modifying computer systems, especially doing audio work.
So again, if you have any ideas . . .

Ken
