Trying to get a song project into a mastering session... and what is going on with «Song» files?

Hello Everyone,

I just finished a mix and am, trying to g to get it into a mastering session to continue working on it there. I used the «update mastering session» to have it bounce a file. This seems to have worked, but I cannot find this file anywhere. I thought I maybe needed to create a new mastering session file, and then I could get that imported or linked-up somehow. So, I did that, and I now have a Mastering session file that is empty and cannot see the song I was working on to import this data...

in my Studio One User Data Files folder, I have folders for Projects, and Songs. The manual and FS Pro 8.1 have tabs for Sessions and Projects, but not Songs? I then look for where are the Songs, and they are not an option any more in FS Pro 8.1? Also the current session I am working on is in my Studio One User Data Files folder, but does not show up in my Sessions tab in the Home page. It only shows up under Recent Files...

What is going on? Why does FS Pro 8.12 not see my Song file in the Session tab? Do we no-longer have Song files? Are these now called Sessions? I guess Project files are still only for naming Mastering sessions? This is all very confusing for the naming conventions...

Is there a way to re-scan all the files in the Studio One User Data Files folder? Should I just change the name of the Song folder to Session?

Also, what is the protocol for when you have a mix finished in your song/session file (which one is it!?...), and you want to then get it set-up in a Mastering project file? I would have thought when you do the «Update Mastering File» it would create the Mastering project for you? So, how do we best do this?

Thank you for the help, I appreciate it.
