Trouble using Musio and an external controller

Lando

New member
Recently got the Musio sub and am trying to hook up the Musio player's Dynamics and Expression on-screen controls, in Focus mode, to the faders on my external MIDI controller. I've had some luck using the Macro Controls in the Channel Editor, but it doesn't always hold. I can't find one consistent way for this to work. If anyone has cracked this nut, please let me know.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Have you contacted Samson Support to see if they have device files that support the controller you have?
Studio One includes device file control mappings for some of the popular controllers like the Korg nanoKONTROL2.
They're located here and can be open with Notepad to see how they work and provide clues for what's needed for your controller.

Appreciate the suggestion but, sadly, my Samson MF8 is no longer supported. However, just today I was playing around with S1 Control Link and I had some success linking the Musio interface to the MF8. The only thing is I'd need to use per track articulation and I use Art Conductor for everything else. I believe it's time for a new controller. Thanks again for the response
