Hi all I'm new here & getting reaquainted with studio one after a 3 year break( recently upgrading from studio one 5 to 7) & looking for the best way to add recent 2nd hand buys to my set up, a Roland se02 + ju06 + jx08 & a behringer td3.

I have a a 2019 i7 mac mini running monterey, with a Satechi ssd & usb hub, studio one 7, Quantum 2 audio, NI Komplete Kontrol s61mk2.
In my head i was thinking of using audio & midi over usb but not sure how to get it working, so I have come here hoping someone here has had success with a similar set up.

Cheers

I wasn't familiar with the Roland SE02 or Behringer TD3 so I looked at them online real quick. Nice gear
it certainly appears. I have several Roland devices setup: TD-30 Drum Module - Roland VR 09 Keyboard
and Roland VG-99. The VG-99 is pretty old now but seems like It was easy to set-up. The VR-09 was pretty
simple also. Buth of these units have Midi via USB. The Roland TD-30 was an whole different issue due to
special driver needed if you want all the features to work. i got the driver from Roland's website. After driver
installed then components had to be turned on in the order Roland lined out. So, watch that if it applies.

Check in manual to see if drivers are needed. If not and you have Midi over USB installing
them in the External devices should be fairly easy. What as tripped me up previously is how to set up in the
External Devices in Studio One i.e. set up as keyboard, controller or Instrument. i believe most items will
be set up as a Keyboard. There are video on youtube to help with the set-up. Good luck and I hope
it all goes well for you. Hopefully, someone here as set-up these devices you have and chime in if there is
anything particular needed.
