Studio One Pro 7 not receiving audio

Hi folks - I've been an S1 user since vs 1 - 15 years ago. Currently running S1 7 (and still have S1 Pro 6).
I cannot capture audio from my interface - Metric Hale ULN8 3d. I have configured the I/O in 'Song Setup' as I always have.
2 things happen: only random digital clicks are captured; & EVERY audio input shows this 'digital' signal, even from the I/O channels
that are not connected from the ULN8. Same behaviour with both Vers 7 & 6...

I have made sure 'Mic' is enabled in System Settings>Privacy&Security>Microphone
There is no Sample Rate mismatch between the project and the interface
AND
This exact same configuration works properly on the same computer recording into Logic 11, LUNA Pro and Mixbus 10

I have submitted a support ticket with Presonus, but haven't heard back.

Feel like I'm missing something obvious. Any help would be much appreciated.

hmmmm I’m on a LIO-8 3D and often a ULN. They’ve been rock solid for me with S1. Are you on the newest Mio firmware? 6.3.03?

Thanks for commenting. I appreciate it. Yes, I'm on the latest MIO version and the ULN-8 is up to date. This setup works fine into Logic 11, Mixbus 10 and LUNA Pro on the same computer (MacMini M2Pro). I also have had no problem tracking in all the previous versions of S1, back to vers 1. Realized today that these problems began with install of S1 7... and now version 6 doesn't work either. Thanks again. T

OK Presonus Support pointed me in the right direction. The problem was Anti Virus loaded onto the same machine. Never had this problem before, but I guess the combo of new OS and Studio One was a fatal flaw... Also - like I said, there was no issue recording to Logic 11, Mixbus 10 or LUNA Pro. I removed the Anti Virus sw and all is back to normal.

Ugh - Sorry to say that after everything worked fine and I was able to record audio into S1 Pro 7, I quit and came back later to track more only to find it not working again...

After removing Anti Virus, everything was fine. I quit S1 and relaunched it. Back to the same problem.

- I've turned Mic access on and off - no difference.
- I've disabled Sonarworks Systemwide - no difference.
- I've shut down the computer and relaunched - no difference.
- I've reinstalled S1 Pro 7 - no difference.
- I've recorded to the same disc the OS and DAW are on (I usually record to an external drive) - no difference.
- I don't understand the 'User Data' write thingy. All S1 Preferences shows me is where that location is, without any options to 'Allow'

Any further thoughts?
