Studio One Appearance Settings! What's Yours?

I have been trying for years to find appearance settings that are suitable. It's been the hardest thing to do in Studio One. All else has been relatively easy! 🤣 Can you imagine that? 😲 This looks good on my monitor and is easy on the eyes. I know this is subjective but you never know. Feel free to share yours.

I never changed the appearance settings except for testing purposes :-)
Well, me too usually! But this time Presonus fundamentaly changed the contrast behaviour in the appearance settings, which don't nearly look as transparent as before when doing audio editing.

I'm rockin this setting:

even though the saturation is all the way down, you can still change the color of the "in focus"-rim with the hue fader.
8 seems to fit with the blue of the selected tool and the start-end markers the best..

This has been mine for as long as I can remember:

But these settings have little to do with the massive recent diversions in the Event highlights (especially when clicking in the bottom half of an event).

And- for all those who claim the "defaults" rule - this specific color - which used to be the default event/waveform (v6, v5, v4) that I had for years - is no longer the default in v7:

I had to recreate this using my RGB toolset and readd it as a selection in my custom color pallet within v7.

The "Default" color scheme in Studio One 6 & 7 are identical.
It was the one I used until the big color change made in SO 7 and 7.0.1 which really made gridlines hard to see.
I'm now using Gregor's color scheme which helps to show gridlines a little better but still not ideal with other presets.

I submitted a solution earlier that should help for selected event gridlines...
Gridline Solution for Selected Events

Hopefully they can get this working better in the next release so the default and other presets can be used again.

I prefer a light background. It's interesting how at a certain contrast level the play cursor turns black, while still white over the ruler. On the down side, the light theme has some contrast issues in certain situations.
