Congrats to you and the team on this new feature drop.

Just installed 7.1 and I can already tell the Event coloring has been adjusted. Thank you!

Cheers

How does one install "Cinematic Lights?" I don't see it.

BUG Report: S1 7.1 (upgrade process) trashes my Song->Apply Customization templates from my prior version. This dialog:

Had several custom selections added to it - as of 30 minutes ago.

Now - back to the defaults. Good thing I have a backup.

Just confirmed that the customization.settings file (located in AppData\Roaming\Presonus\Studio One 7\ is completely overwritten with a default file at just 1KB. My existing "customization.settings" file is 20K

Please consider a look see here. This same issue occurred during the last update cycle as well.

Cheers

The same way as you install any other Extension / Sound Set: Via Studio One -> Studio One Installation.

Wasn't sure if you were being snippy, or if it's just because sometimes text can make it sound that way, but I already tried that multiple times and it was not in there. I had to go to My Presonus.com and "claim" the software...then it showed up in there. Thank you.

Not my intention - I'm sorry :) It was just written in a hurry because I was replying to a lot of posts at once.

That's good to know.

No worries! It's a problem with text sometimes! Been playing with Cine Lights...I think it's going to have some nice use for me. It'll sound great as a backup to some of my soundpaint stuff for sure!

Okay NOW we are talking. Bus Transform, "Potential crash on Ctrl/Cmd+Click on Video Track" , and [Project Page] Listen Bus disappears after importing I/O configuration preset is a pretty decent update for me. Stoked to get in there and try it out.

Oh wow! They really fixed the overall look! The gridlines, everything! Looks a LOT better.

Maybe someone can tell me how to change the brightness of an events? Version 7.1 is too bright on my display. It would be great if it could be fixed, sincere thanks to anyone who can help.

Try going to Setting / General / Appearance. You should be able to adjust quite a bit there.

Can confirm for Mac either.

~/Library/Application Support/PreSonus/Studio One 7

Thanks for the heads up! Did a backup before the update, so restoring the file was a no-brainer.

Yeah - this one has slipped thru a few times already. Maybe you and I are the only ones actually using this function :)

● New virtual instrument “Cinematic Lights”

Is this only available for users on Sphere (or whatever it has been renamed to now)?
It won't be found in S1 via "Studio One Installation..."

Go to my.presonus.com, open the S1 v7 entry, scroll down the additional content and "Claim" the new instrument. Then you can download it from within S1.
