Solved 'Show only selected Channels' Macro

Hey guys,

Lukas has leveraged a great command with 'Show selected tracks' in Scoring Tools; it will show only those tracks you have selected and hide the other clutter, which you can then undo when finished working on those tracks.

But my personal favorites are 'Show tracks with events under cursor/loop'.
Really enjoying working with these...

But I have long yearned for an analog in the console (hehe, pun, yay).

Anyone know of a method to show only those channels I have selected in the mixer and hide the other 2-300?

Since there's no "Show Selected Channels", a workaround would be to solo the channels (press S) and choose "Show Soloed Channels".

Or as a macro:

- Track - Solo
- Console - Show Soloed Channels
- Track - Solo

Brilliant!

Works on everything except all my 'solo-safe' channels, which I need; close enough for now.

Always coming through for us Luke.

P.S. After your recommendation of Divisimate 2, I polled the guys at VIC for their own thoughts, and the resulting thread was quite illuminating. I performed my own demo of DM2, set up the newly-released orchestra template from Nextmidi within my own palette and then subsequently gave my own in-depth review of the tool.

After a rather deep dive by all fleshing out the programs strengths and weaknesses, Steffen (the developer) dropped by to share his thoughts about the current state of the tool as an orchestration utility and some exciting directions they are looking to take it in future.

Check it out when you have time.

Appreciate it!
