Setting Default Automation For Instrument Tracks

Hey guys and gals,

Would anyone happen to know how to add default automation parameters to new instrument tracks in S1?

I just set up a template for composing and have a whole orchestra loaded in a few dozen tracks and I usually add the volume and panning automation parameters to all the tracks one at a time.

I'm wondering if:

a. Is there a way I can set volume and panning automation to be added by default whenever I create a new instrument track?

b. If there's a way for me to select all tracks at once, select volume and automation once and then apply that to all existing tracks.

It presently looks like this in S1. I'm on V6 by the way.

And I usually add in automation parameters one by one like this:

Many thanks in advance!

A. No. Instrument tracks don't have volume and pan until or unless you load an instrument.
B. Yes. Turn on 'Automatically add envelopes for all touched parameters' in automation options and group the tracks. When you move any fader or pan in Touch mode during playback, all of them will get the same automation written.

Nothing to add to what @Gray Wolf has said, except that if you like to use MIDI CCs (CC7 or CC11 for volume automation) for your orchestral instruments, there are some shortcuts built into the latest version of Navigation Essentials to easily add them as part automation:
