Solved Script For Coloring Tracks By Instrument Type?

Sorry, I'm just so familiar with how everything works in Color Toolbar.
Let me know if there's details missing that need to be added to the website, video tutorial or documentation to make this more obvious.

Just as a feature request for the Color Toolbar. I like to see an additional function to conform only selected tracks. I know this is possible for selected events, but even not for selected tracks. Also, I like to see a mouse over functionality which shows the associated color groups when holding the mouse cursor over the color slots inside the open Color Toolbar.

Here's a few workflow aids that might help those new to the colour toolbar.
Get into the habit of using a colour scheme by instrument and don't deviate from it
For me I alphabetise instruments by colour.
Bass= Blue
Guitar = Green
Drums = red (red for Rhythm)
Violet = Vocals
Purple=percussion
Silver = Synths
And finally brass for Brass!

One thing to be aware of, when assigning words that trigger a specific track colour be careful to not include the word bus, FX or VCA as it will clash with colouring bus,FX or VCA channels

A little side question concerning the installation:
On a new Macbook I installed S1 v7 from scratch and tried to install the color toolbar. I should put the .package file into the scripts folder, which should be under /Users/$username/Library/Application Support/Studio One 7, if I understood it correctly. But there is no "Scripts" folder. I created it manually and put the package file there, but S1 does not seem to recognize it. I thought maybe it is case-sensitive and should be lower case, but "scripts" also did not work. What am I missing? Thanks for your help in advance.

That's not the correct location for a Mac.
You need to right click on the S1 Application itself and choose "Show Package Contents".
The Scripts folder is inside the Contents folder.

Like @dominicperry said "That's not the correct location for a Mac."

The Color Toolbar "Downloads" page provides installation instructions for Windows and Mac users.
They're located at the top of the page.

Yes, thanks. I somehow missed the correct part of the page and Google gave me the wrong answer initially. Was a short night before anyway ;)

In my understanding, you can actually use those words as long as you unchecked the corresponding option at the top of the « edit » window.
