Scoring Tools - Track Tags question (S1-7)

Hi everyone! I'm on Studio One 7.0 When using the tag feature in Scoring Tools, does it see Folder Tracks as a track ? When I select a folder plus the tracks inside that folder and tag it "drums" for example, using the Filter Tracks by Tag doesn't call up the folder track named "drums" and also it doesn't select tracks inside named "drums" unless the folder is already open. IF the folder is closed, the filter search can't see the tracks inside and doesn't call it up. Is this normal? It's strange bc if i use the Studio One track filter it does call up the tracks inside a folder even if the folder is closed. Also if the folder is open and I check the 'Non-exclusive search (don't hide any tracks)' option, then click OK, it doesn't select any tracks that I've tagged "drums". It doesn't do anything. Is this because I'm on S1-7 ?

Hi,

I cannot reproduce the issues you describe. It works as expected here in Studio One 7. You're right that folders are ignored when filtering for track tags. Only the tags of the tracks within the folder count. If a folder is collapsed (or hidden), it should be automatically opened if a track in that folder matches one of the tags.

Non-exclusive search (showing tracks with specific tags) also works well here.



Are you sure that have correctly assigned your tags to the tracks in the folder (instead of just to the Folder Track)?
