S1 7 Tempo Mapping - Sync

Hey there, Hello.
I'm new to this forum happy to be here, looking for some help. No matter what I do I cannot detect or sync to tempo multi tracks I am remixing. I originally recorded in Logic some years ago, S1 all I use now. Used a basic drum sequence (2 and 4 only kick sn) to record , transferred audio into S1, transient detect 1st downbeat, have tried 'everything' although clearly not making the right moves, I've followed youtube vids etc, I cannot generate a solid click I can remix to. Tempo detect does not give me any lockable BPM. Ideally I would like to do a screenshare with someone to guide me through the correct procedure. I have quite a few tracks to remix, some free tempo, some with a loop but off the grid. Thought this would be much quicker. S1 covers all my bases, this is my biggest handicap at the moment, sorting out tempo mapping in both directions. Moving tracks to the grid, moving the grid to tracks.
I'd appreciate assistance, would prefer direct online help if possible.
Thanks, best regards.

If you have Melodyne drop the drum track into that and it can export a tempo map. it isn’t always perfect but for me on a solid percussion track it works brilliantly 90% of times

Try this:
First, open up the Song Information dialog (control+.) and make sure the "stretch audio to fit tempo" option is disabled.

Press F4 and set all your tracks to "Don't follow" on the follow tempo option. Open up the tempo track (hamburger icon above the tracks / tempo track) and delete whatever tempo map you've done before by selecting everything on the tempo track and pressing delete. Now take the track that has the clearest transients, select the event or events (it's best to have just one unified event) and right click -> audio -> detect tempo. This will embed the tempo map on the event and create a sync point (white vertical line with a yellow dot on the bottom) on the first transient. Snap this sync marker to the first beat of any bar. Scroll to the bottom of the side panel you opened before (F4) and look for the tempo information, you'll see the word "map" or a number, click on it (or on the downward arrow besides it, I'm not at my computer at the moment and can't recall which) to confirm. Now take the event or events and drag it to the tempo track.

Note that if the track has too little transient information or too much sustained stuff (a pad for example) you won't have much luck with tempo detection. Sometimes you might need to cut the event right on the first transient to make sure the DAW doesn't get confused.

Thanks I will go through these steps.
