Hi everyone,
Recently any .song files that consume memory more than 10~13GB (on taskmgr, private working memory) immediately crashes (no response, frozen) my S1 7.0.2.
If anyone has similar issue and successfully solved, I really would like to hear your knowledge.
i9-10920X / 64GB RAM (tested with OCCT, no abnormality found) / ASUS X299-A / Win10-22H2 / Antelope Orion Studio Core through ASUS Thuderbolt 3 AIC
:some findings
- .song file that consumes memory around 10~11GB: loading the file seemed to be completed, but immediately crashed while S1 was loading UIs
- .song file that consumes memory around 12~13GB: S1 crashed while S1 was loading VST plugins
- Opened such .song file with safe mode, removed some plugins to reduce memory consumption <10GB and opened it again with normal mode. Everything worked fine.
- some .song files were converted from S1 6.x
